Jan 20, Donna rated it really liked it Shelves: I don’t really have anything negative to say about the audiobook production at all! Heartbreaking love story that will stay with me for a long time.

She was able to convey all of this to the reader in a beautiful way. OK, I’ll get off my soapbox and cacls to the book review.

I won this livdo Firstreads giveaways, and I would like to thank the author for providing this book for me to read.

But, I must say, I struggled with this book early on for several chapters, almost giving up – too drawn out. Clinical depression has no source from which it springs-it just is. I can tell, however, that this book is a “first” book. They accept each other and their flaws, marry and continue on.

I even loved Lily’s sweet husband, Ron. All of the sisters are loyal to one another but stay true to vvidro characters. She comes with sass and two sisters, Lily who is maternal in nature but childless and Priscilla who is career driven and has ice in her veins.

If you are freaking out about the Kindle price, don’t. Thanks to Crysti for recommending this to me! Lucy’s sisters, Lily and Priscilla, are two of the most important people in her life and play a huge part in this novel. Death is female and not frightening. May 19, JulesGrrl rated it liked it.

You could also tell that the author did mountains and mountains worth of research or at least was very knowledgeable about the bi-polar disorder. She showed us how people we love can help us to heal from crushi I enjoyed the concept of this book as it is rare to read a love story that involves someone with bipolar disorder.

I also think the author did a wonderful job with depicting bipolar disorder, I didn’t realize that she was a former psychiatric nurse before reading this but I knew while reading that she definitely had some sort of strong connection with the mentally ill.

Hancock tackles some tough issues that are not foreign to the reader. Their love for one another is pure, unconditional, and without end.

Please read it, you will not be disappointed!!! It was nice to see the shift in narrators during these parts.

It’s stunning and beautiful. Lucy and Mickey both agree early on that babies will never fit into their equation, but that never takes away their want.

Hancock’s characters kept me wanting to read the book. But this book blew me out of the water, so I have to mention it. So glad i did! Because the author never makes you feel like there’s only one answer.

I also found myself very annoyed that both Lucy and Mickey’s medical providers Gleason and Charlotte were so unrealistically involved in their personal lives, and caos constantly available — and that the care they received was so stellar. All sbore all I believe that this will be a book I will always remember and being the voracious reader that I am, that is quite a statement.

The narrators of this book were really pleasant to listen to. Hancock creates the story of two damaged sou Okay, so I finished this novel with tears streaming down my face along with a box of Kleenex by my side.
